AP State Electricity Online Bill Payment-

The Central Power distribution of Andhra Pradesh got established on 1-April-2000 with the objective to fulfil the expectation of Government of India in terms of providing electricity to the people at a very affordable cost. The APCPDCL has been operating with 1338
  substations, 2039 power transformers, 5227 numbers of 11 Feeders and 720 numbers of 33 feeders. Certain efforts has been made by the APCDCL to provide quality power supply to their customers through electronic spot billing, web enabled customer services, online bill payment, Tie up with e-Seva centers, Vidyut Sadassus and substation meetings.The company is enhancing its services and performances day throughout by providing stable and value
added services to their customers. They have electrified 6489 villages, 2059 tribal hamlets, 5600 general hamlets, 5806 weaker sections colonies and looking forward to meet the more challenging needs to deliver quality customer services in time through their innovative ideas.

The latest electricity Slab rates in Andhra Pradesh as implemented by the state government are as follows:-

House A falls in the slab of 200-400 units per month whose charges are Rs 7.75 per unit.
House B falls under the slab of more than 400units electricity whose charges are Rs 8.80 per unit.
We get the total unit's cost by multiplying the number of units and the cost per unit. So,
House A has to pay Rs 1440 as the unit cost.
• 1 to 50 units- Rs 1.45/unit
• 51 to 100 units- Rs 2.60/unit
• 101 to 200 units- Rs 3.60/unit
• 201 to 300 - Rs 6.90/unit
• 301 to 400 units- Rs 7.75/unit
• 401 to 500 units- Rs 8.27/unit
• Above 500 units- Rs 8.80/unit
The Central Power Distribution Company of AP has incurred a secure and direct mode for online payment for their customers of Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medak, Ananthapur,

Nalgonda, Mehboob and Kurnool district. The southern and Eastern Power Distribution system of AP is based upon two stage method. First the customers have to register themselves through the site after which they will get a valid Username and password. This username and password can be used to view online electricity bill and to make payment by BillDesk payment gateway. The Northern Power Distribution Company of AP do not provide the facility of online bill payment for districts such as Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Khammum Warangal district. The APCDCL is comprises of various Customer Service Centers that handle customers queries and provide them relevant feedbacks accordingly.
