On Dec 11, 2014 TNERC issued orders revising the tariff. For domestic above 500 units is Rs 5.75/ unit now it will be Rs 6.60/unit. Shops and commercial LT power supply for 0-100 units is Rs 4.30/unit now it will be Rs 5.00/unit. Above 100 units tariff will increase from Rs 7/ unit to Rs 8/unit.
